In 2009 Chartertalk will be a full time guide service. Due to the uncertainty of the auto industry the company that I have worked for 23 yrs is closing.
I have been guiding part time since 1999 and have been fortunate to have been quite busy during wknds and during my time on the afternoon shift. But now guiding fulltime will be the focus of my time. I have had the opportunity to film with Bob Izumi (Real Fishing) and Pete Bowman (Fishn' Canada) and now work with Karl Kalonka and Extreme Angler TV www.extremeanglertv.com doing most of the walleye, musky and steelhead segments.
In my yrs of guiding I have had the chance to meet many great celebs and professionals that include musicians like Jimmie "Bones" Tromblay ( www.jimmiebones.net ) keyboard player for Kid Rock's band and a number of athletes.

I guide for walleyes, bass, musky, steelhead and perch and all equipment is supplied. You will be fishing from a fully rigged Ranger 621 fisherman series with Lowrance electronics, St. Croix Rods. Come learn the techniques used by the pros to catch fish. This includes using Off Shore tackle inline boards, crankbaits, dipsey's and downrigging for walleyes and rainbows, casting, jigging and trolling for musky. Dropshotting tube rigging and other bass techniques. Not to mention catching tasty perch !!
I am past member of the Ont Sportfishing Guides Assoc, commercially insured and a graduate of Georgian College Marine Division MED-A3
In 2008 myself and fishing partner Steve Velte finished 2nd for Team of the Year in the Cabelas Masters Walleye Circuit which included 26th at Port Clinton, 3rd on Saginaw Bay and 5 in Dunkirk NY. I have also placed 3rd, 4th and 5th twice at the Colchester derby.

I am looking forward to the 2009 season and wish you all the best,

Congratulations Bob on your new endevour in 2009. I know you will be a success at it because of your vast experience and the knowledge that you have and share with other fishermen and women and children. Good luck to you! Paul.

Bob, its too bad about the fulltime job, but maybe this will turn out to be the kick in the a$$ that was needed to do what you probably have wanted to do all your life. Wish you much success and best of luck.

They say things happen for a purpose - this may be one of them - good fortunes come to those who apply themselves to the things that they seek - all the best to you Bob

I know that you'll do great at it! It's really what you want to do anyway! Hopefully we can share a boat again someday!
Cheers,
Dave
